Family Night

Our “Family Night” ministries will begin again tonight, Wednesday, September 7, with dinner being served from 5:45pm – 6:30pm, and Bible study for adults, youth, and children from 6:45pm – 7:30pm.  Please check the TV screen when you come in for the location of the Bible studies for youth and children.  Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will be served for dinner.

Pastor Bill will be teaching the adult class titled, “Go and Be Reconciled.”  In this study we will look at the difference between conflict resolution and reconciliation.  Using Scripture and case studies, this study will provide some practical ways for us to be reconciled with God and each other.  We look forward to seeing you tonight.

God’s Blessings,

Pastor Bill and Pastor Tom

New Worship Time

Just a reminder that our early worship service time will change this Sunday, September 4, back to 8:30am.

Also, we would like to invite all of you to a special presentation this Sunday, September 4, at 10:00am as the team from Holy Cross who went to Guatemala (Susan Creech, Herman & Donna Steele, and Gary & Diane Wessell) will share what God did through them with pictures and stories. You will hear how your gifts of love were used there and how you can join the team next summer as they hope to go back to Guatemala.

Open Arms Sunday

Dear Family:

This weekend marks the 10th Anniversary of our Open Arms Christian Child Development Center. Therefore, we would like to honor our teachers and staff this Sunday, August 21, at both of our worship services for their hard work in caring for our children and their families.  Please join us for this special event, that will also include a reception for the Open Arms staff between services.  Our Open Arms staff and families are a special part of our ministry and we would like to invite all of you to join us in thanking them for their faithful service to God and our church.

God’s Blessings,

Future Ministry Meetings

We would like to invite you to join us on Wednesday, August 3, or Thursday, August 4, at 7:00pm in the sanctuary to discuss the future of our ministry, what would be involved in expanding our facility, and how this would impact you.  We would value your insights as we look ahead to the next 15 years and consider what God has planned for us as a congregation.  The same information will be presented at each meeting, so you only need to attend on August 3rd or 4th.  The meetings should each last about one hour.  These meetings are designed to present information about possible expansion and to answer questions in preparation for our special voters’ meeting on Wednesday, August 10.  Members of our long range planning committee will be at both meetings.  You are an important part of our church and we look forward to seeing you this Wednesday or Thursday night.

God’s Blessings,
Pastor Bill and Pastor Tom
